Questions.
Does it censor other apps like X or Reddit?
iOS doesn’t let any app censor inside other apps. Betachip censors inside its own browser, camera and media, and the Safe links widget opens those sites in Betachip instead.
Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. Detection and censoring run on your iPhone, so your browsing, your camera and your photo library stay on it. The one exception is a photo or video you choose to send a partner in chat: it is censored on your phone before it leaves, and encrypted end to end on the way.
Can my partner see my photos or browsing?
No. They see your settings, your lock and when you were last online, and they can change the settings. They see a picture only when you send it to them in chat, already censored.
Can I get out of a lock early?
That’s the point: not easily. A Self Lock opens when its timer runs out, or with its password if you set one. A lock your partner sets has no password at all. It opens when the timer ends or when they lift it.
Which toys work?
Lovense toys, connected over Bluetooth straight from the app. You don’t need a Lovense account.
Is it free?
